The Live Well Kosciusko Cancer Coalition luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 26 at the K21 Health Pavilion.

Speakers from the Indiana Department of Health and the Indiana Cancer Consortium will discuss how people can support cancer prevention, early detection, treatment and survivorship in Kosciusko County. Speaker Julie Gries is the director of early detection for the Indiana Department of Health’s Division of Chronic Diseases and Rural Health. Mary Robertson is the director of the Indiana Cancer Consortium.

Attendees will learn about updated cancer statistics for Indiana and Kosciusko County; the importance of early detection in the treatment of cancer; the Indiana Breast and Cervical Cancer Program; and the Indiana Cancer Plan.
