Oncology specialist joins Trinity | News, Sports, Jobs


Moayed Ibrahim, MD, a specialist in medical oncology and hematology, has joined Trinity Health’s cancer care team. It provides care for cancer patients using cancer therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormone therapy. He is also trained in the diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases.

A graduate of Jordan Hashemite University School of Medicine, Ibrahim completed his residency in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University/Quillen College of Medicine.

After completing a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas, he completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans. He was chosen as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow during his training.

Ibrahim is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine and eligible in medical oncology and hematology. He has been published in peer-reviewed publications and received numerous academic and research awards, including the 2020 American Society of Hematology Abstract Achievement Award.
