Thyroid Cancer Specialist Joins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in Jefferson

Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Jefferson Health appointed Marcia Brose, MD, PhD, vice president of medical oncology and regional head of cancer services at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
Brose will also serve as the medical co-director of community clinical research in the cancer center clinical research organization. In this role, she will facilitate clinical research studies at the cancer centre’s advanced care centers to ensure that clinical trials at these sites serve their communities.
Brose is recognized for its expertise in thyroid cancers, rare cancers and personalized therapy.

Marcia Brose
Previously, she held several positions at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, including Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Director of Head and Neck Clinical Trials, Director of the Thyroid Cancer Therapeutics Program and director of the Center for Rare Cancers and Personalized Medicine at the Abramson Cancer Center. She was also co-director of the Advanced Pediatric Thyroid Cancer Treatment Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Abramson Cancer Center.
